The long-sleeve version of the classic heavy tee. 6.1 oz of 100% US-grown ringspun cotton, quarter-turned to drop the centre crease, with taped shoulders and double-needle hemmed cuffs. Same shape as the short-sleeve Gildan 2000, extended for the October to March stretch.
The Gildan 2400 Ultra Cotton Long Sleeve is the winter half of the classic 2000 tee. Same 6.1 oz of US-grown ringspun cotton, same quarter-turned body and taped shoulders, extended out to full-length sleeves with double-needle hemmed cuffs. The shirt you reach for from October through March, when a t-shirt isn't enough and a hoodie is overkill.
THE FIT
Classic unisex cut, true to size. Same body as the 2000, so if the short-sleeve version fits you, this one will too. Sleeves are full length, cut to hit at the wrist bone with a double-needle hemmed cuff (no ribbing, no elastic). Quarter-turned construction means no centre crease running down the front, so prints land flat. Order your usual size for a relaxed everyday fit.
BUILT FOR PRINT
The 6.1 oz Ultra Cotton is the same weight as the 2000, which means the same sweet spot for DTF transfers. Heavy enough that the print doesn't sink, ringspun for a smooth print surface, and the sleeve real estate opens up armband and cuff placements that a short-sleeve tee can't offer. Colours land bright, edges stay sharp, and the print survives the wash cycle.
