The Gildan 2000 Ultra Cotton is the heaviest of Gildan's classic cotton tees. Six full ounces of US-grown ringspun cotton, with the same boxy cut, taped shoulders and quarter-turned body that's been the standard work tee for thirty years. The "Sustainable" part is Gildan's recent reformulation: recycled cotton in the blend, lower-impact reactive dyes, and US-only fibre sourcing. Same shirt, smaller footprint.

THE FIT

Classic unisex cut, true to size. Roomier than a modern slim tee, with a straight side seam and a sleeve that hits mid-bicep. Order your usual size for a relaxed everyday tee, or size down if you want it snug. Quarter-turned construction means no crease running down the centre front, so prints land flat and clean.

BUILT FOR PRINT

The 6 oz weight is the sweet spot for DTF transfers on heavier, more premium-feeling cotton. The fabric has enough body that the print doesn't sink and warp, and ringspun cotton holds the ink with a smoother surface than open-end cotton would.
